Broome’s Astronomy Experience
is a 2-hour educational and entertaining mind bender using big telescopes, lasers and fun under some of the best stargazing skies on the planet.
The show runs 4 nights a week from April to October. Due to the “wet” we run less often
November and December and then close altogether until April, except for special
events published on this site or at “Greg Quicke’s Astro Tours” Facebook Page.
The Earth turns and the sky changes lots in 2 hours so we offer Early and Late shows on different nights. Both shows are similar with enough differences to make life interesting. Regulars say they gain more and more each time they come and our Season Pass holders really begin to feel the Earth’s movement for themselves. Have your dinner before you come. We start the show in full darkness to access late rising planets and constellations. Learn how to navigate with the Southern Cross, explore the Zodiac as the home of all the planets and simply relax into the
magic of a Kimberley night sky.

Yes, it is dark enough! at 6pm! Short twilights in the tropics means it gets dark really fast with stars appearing one by one until the sky is filled with a million other worlds. Telescopes silhouetted against the colours of the sunset search out early planets while the Earth’s shadow
sneaks into the sky.
